Kaisley at 16 Months

Kaisley is such a busy girl. She loves to:
-stack her building blocks, but only the two's and they have to be perfectly straight
-try to catch the sunlight that comes through the windows in the morning
-read books, especially to kohl. She only will do it if she is sitting perfectly between kohl's legs though.
-pretend to be kohl by panting, licking her lips, and then panting again
-she thinks that she needs to cough into misc clothes and rags
-eat bananas, peanut butter and honey sandwiches, and steamed carrots
-sign for "milk" and she drinks it all day long
-say "soooo" when brushing her hair or putting on a necklace. She does this because we tell her she is "sooo pretty."
-play with other babies. She pets them like kohl
Kaisley is 22lbs and 6 oz and 31 inches long. She is in 18 month and 2t clothing.

Kais and Sophia who is 6 months old and 18lbs

Senior Night

Friday was Senior Night in Declo. They honored the seniors before the game and played the song "Today is Your Day." I started tearing up just when the song started playing but when they honored Jason and Kage's (Kage has been Jason's bestfriend since they were three) friend Jacob who took his life their Sophomore year I really lost it. Jason and Kage presented his mother with some gifts and flowers and gave her hugs on the field. I know that they miss Jacob so much and so does the rest of the community. The game ended up being a blow out. They beat Valley 67-8 and Jason set a new school record of most rushing touchdowns in a single game with 6. The previous record of 5 was shared among 3 people. Kage did well with 5 quarterback sacks. I'm so sad that we won't have anyone to watch next year because we love those Friday night lights. Jason has had an awesome year so far and has gotten a lot of recognition and awards in the community. I have been horrible with taking pictures lately but here is the picture of Jason that they posted in the Times News.

Visiting Tiff and Jon in Kuna

Last weekend we visited our cousins Tiffany, Jon, Hayden, and new baby Hollister. I had to steal pictures from Tiffany because I forgot my camera at home. Hollister is so adorable and hardly ever made a noise. He is such a sweet baby. Hayden is a really good big brother already and you can tell that he just loves Hollister. Kiley had a job interview for Alarmco in Boise on Friday and was later offered the job. We would love for him to work for that company but decided overall that we didn't want to raise our family in the Boise area right now with so many changes happening. Saturday we went to the zoo. Kaisley was ready for a nap so she had her thumb in her mouth the whole time but was surprisingly content. The only thing she got really excited for were the mirkats because they were wrestling right in front of her where she could see. Later that night we played games back at the house. Hayden let Kaisley ride his John Deere truck and we were so surprised that she could actually reach the pedal and do it on her own! We had so many laughs and we miss the Pauls terribly. It was so good to hang out and catch up.
