Pumpkin Patch

We took the kiddos to a pumpkin patch with a corn maze. Kaisley was really excited, pointing at every pumpkin, racing for the corn, and picking up every ear of corn that she could find! We let her pick the pumpkins, each of which she said was, "SO HEAVY" in a dramatic fashion. When we got home Kais and Kash painted pumpkins. For Kashton's first pumpkin we put his hand and foot prints in the (somewhat) shape of a face. Kashton also had his first veggie. He really liked the sweet peas! Days like these are so fun!

Rice Cereal

Kashton had his first taste of rice cereal. He LOVED it! It was getting late and Kais was really cranky but when we let her feed Kash she cheered right up. After that she was so tired she fell asleep on her Dad's lap. Lately Kaisley has discovered that she can just get up when we are in bed and roam the house. She usually plays with toys or just sits on the couch. She is quite sneaky about it.

Kashton at 5 Months

When Kash was 5 months old he:
-could roll over
-liked to babble
-still loves his sister
-likes to jump
-is still little
-has found his toes
-sucks his thumb and doesn't like his soothie

Kashton's Baby Blessing

A few Sundays ago we went to Declo to have Kashton's baby blessing. We finalized our plans the day before so we weren't able to give anyone enough notice to come. This is pretty normal for us lately because of Kiley's crazy work schedule. We either have all of our time booked out months in advance or plans change in a second. Reguardless, we were able to share this special moment with G & G Gillette, Aunt Monica, and Uncle Adam. Gpa Gillette blessed baby Kash and did a very good job. He did joke that he was going to rename him Kashton Lawrence Koski :) Kash did very well and sucked his thumb most of the time. They said when they peaked at him he was smiling.
After the blessing my dad took some quick snapshots of us as a family. We only got one two good ones given the bad weather, but that is enough for now!
