Blue Angels Weekend

Last weekend the Blue Angels were in town. They were practicing Friday and we watched them fly over our house then as well as on Saturday. Saturday we invited our neighbors over for pork chops and to watch them fly. Afterwards we drove out into the desert to shoot clay pigeons. Sunday my family invited us out to watch them at the airport. It was really hot so we packed sponges with frozen water in them in zip lock bags to stick in Kaisley's shirt to keep her cool and they worked pretty well. They normally don't let coolers into the show but since they were to keep Kaisley cool they said it would be okay. It was so much funner to watch on the tarmat because they would fly right at eachother and miss by less than two feet!! My camera died right before the show started so the pictures of them flying are over our house. It was really loud so we were glad we brought the ear protectors for Kaisley.

Declo Days

We made it to Declo Days this year. We watched the parade in front of Grandma and Grandpa Gillette's house and then went to the park afterwards. We were only there for about 20 min and it was time to head back for Kaisley's nap and it was a good thing that we did becuase right when she went to sleep there was an instant DOWNPOUR of rain and the rest of the events in the park were cancelled. We got to see Jason and his friends get waterballoons sling shot at them and Grandpa Gillette even left a huge bruise on one of the boys. He had no idea they would launch that hard. I left to go to Alisha Zollinger's mom's house for a little reunion of my high school friends. It was so good to see everyone and catch up on what they were doing now. Kiley brought Kaisley over after she woke up and it was so fun to show her off. Sunday we went fishing at Salmon Dam. Didn't catch anything, but it was fun to have some family time!

Anniversary Trip Day 3

On the third day Kiley and I woke up and had breakfast at the resort's resturant. Afterwards we all went to downtown Park City to walk the market and look at the shops. We were pretty home sick for Kaisley so we went to Mt. Harrison to pick her up from my mom and dad. They said that she did very well and slept through the night. She would only take naps on the Commander though so they had to take her for lots of rides. When we got home we lit a few fireworks for Kaisley. She was a little nervous and was tired so it didn't last very long.
