Oregon

Our vacation to Oregon started off with a bang. Well, more like a fizzle maybe? Our truck lost power just rolling into Glens Ferry. This really stunk because we had just spent $1,200 and three trips to the dealership to fix this same problem in the last month. Luckily my Dad was able to come rescue us at midnight and swap us his vehicle. It was a crazy night. Both kids had diahhrea and Kaisley had a mess in her sleep which went everywhere. Also, Kiley was at the hospital two days before with a bad case of vertigo and the Dr. told him not to go on vacation at all, but to stay home and rest.

When we did finally make it to Oregon, Kiley had somehow hurt himself so badly that he could barely walk. This ended up in a trip to the Urgent care center in Seaside. It was a crazy trip and hard on everyone. We joked that we would need marriage counseling to survive our vacation.

It is horrible to complain about our rough start. I mean, "first world problems," right? How hard is life that we had to switch our nice truck, for my Dad's (AND that he was even able to spare it), to pull our brand new camper all the way to the Oregon coast for 10 days? Also, that we have health insurance and access to quality healthcare. It is easy to get wrapped up in life and forget about all of life's blessings. We have two beautiful, healthy children that adore each other, friends and family that love us, and a teammate to help make it through the bumps along the way.

Here are some pictures of our stroll on Cannon Beach.
