Seeing the Ocean at Seaside

Friday we drove to Seaside with Grandpa Koski. The rain had stopped for the little while that we were there but the wind was blowing pretty hard at the beach. Kiley and I wanted to eat at the restaurant that we ate at on our Honeymoon but Grandpa wanted to eat at a fish house. We ended up going to our restaurant and Kiley, Kaisley, and I loved our food but Grandpa didn't like his meatloaf sandwich. After lunch we walked to the beach. Grandpa stayed on the boardwalk while we went out and played with Kaisley. She liked walking on the sand and I put her hand in the ocean. The wind made some pretty good sized waves and it was beautiful. Afterwards we went to the Candy Man shop for some caramels, taffy, and ice cream. Kiley and I wanted to rent little bike carts but Grandpa didn't but that turned out to be a good thing because it started raining really hard after the candy shop. On the way to Seaside we stopped at the largest sitka tree in the United States. It actually blew down in a wind storm not too long ago. There were some other large trees there as well.
